ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Årjäng. We offer you to work every fourth weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. Working hours are scheduled during the day. Opportunity for shadowing and training will take place in the autumn of 2025.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful and positive woman in her 35s. She enjoys doing things, such as watching football, floorball, and hockey matches, going to horse racing, both driving (in her adapted folk racing car) and watching folk racing, or being at the beach on a nice day, people-watching and eating ice cream.

She is wheelchair-bound, deaf, and needs help with all daily activities. The work is conducted at the client's home and her parent's home, and you will often work with the client's relatives or alone. You will mostly follow the family's planned activities, but as an assistant, you are welcome to come up with ideas and embark on your own adventures with the client.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Assisting with transfers, hygiene, and during meals
• Accompanying on various activities

As a person, you should be calm, understanding, positive, and flexible. You are responsible and attentive, you see what needs to be done and take your own initiatives. We would like you to be active and want to do things together with our client.

In the home, there are lifting aids to facilitate transfers, but there are also manual lifts. Therefore, you should not have any underlying issues with your back and neck.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license (manual)
• Non-smoker
• Experience in care

Employment rate: Day shifts every fourth weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreement.
