We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant for a 60-year-old man living in Vårgårda municipality. The man lives alone in his own home. It is necessary to have a driver's license and access to a car to get to work.

The man has frontal lobe dementia and is approved for double staffing around the clock. His interests include being outdoors in the forest and nature, scouting, the military, various vehicles, IT, planting, and gardening. 

Criteria for applying for this position include having experience working with individuals with some form of dementia and knowledge of low-arousal approaches.

It is prioritized if you specifically have knowledge of frontal lobe dementia.

You should possess an empathetic ability, be calm and humble in your approach. It is of great importance that you can collaborate in a workgroup, make quick decisions, and be creative in an acute situation.

You will have the opportunity to cover for absent staff for a number of weeks and work according to a fixed schedule, but it is appreciated if you can be flexible to quickly step in during acute situations at other times as well. The shifts are primarily scheduled from 08:00 to 20:00 or 20:00 to 08:00.
