About the role:

As a validation engineer, you will be an important part of the team supporting production during renovations, new installations, and changes in process and control systems. You will work closely with both production and technology and have a central role in ensuring that processes, systems, and equipment meet high standards of quality and safety.

The work is varied and involves both practical execution of tests and analyses as well as documentation and review of technical materials. You will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic environment where accuracy, problem-solving, and collaboration are key. The role suits you who enjoy working in a structured manner but also want to be involved in developing and improving processes within the Life Science industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ, CV, WSV).
• Review and assess specifications, risk assessments, and change requests.
• Document and compile technical information, such as test protocols and reports.
• Ensure that validation work follows applicable standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to improvements in processes and systems related to production and installations.

Qualifications:

• University degree in technical or natural sciences, preferably engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience in validation work within chemical production.
• Good knowledge of water validation, cleaning validation, process validation, as well as installation and functional qualification.
• Ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
• Self-driven, structured, and quick to adapt to new tasks.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Previous work with control systems and process changes within Life Science.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry.
