ECDESIGN has been developing one of the world's most popular 3D interior design tools for over 21 years. Their software is currently used by over 10,000 companies in 170 countries, making it easy to create stylish and functional spaces in 3D – without the need for advanced CAD skills. Among the clients are well-known names, and the solution is a central part of their sales process.

ECDESIGN is a thriving and expanding development company with its heart in Örebro. The team consists of ten people where collaboration, well-being, and long-term commitment are an integral part of the culture. They are now looking for an Application Developer who wants to be an important part of their journey forward.

About the role

As a developer, you will work with ECdesign 5, their own platform that is constantly evolving. Your focus will be on building new features, improving the user experience, and driving the product forward.

The role involves a lot of programming, but you will also have the opportunity to influence both work methods and technical choices. ECDESIGN works agile and is moving into both cloud solutions and AI – so there are great opportunities to grow with the technology.

Who we believe you are

We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with others and wants to be part of a long-term project – not jumping between short assignments. You like problem-solving, are humble but also dare to come up with your own ideas.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• Good knowledge of C/C++.
• Experience with Qt or another event-driven UI framework.
• Knowledge in graphics programming (OpenGL, DirectX, or Vulkan) or experience with game engines.
• Understanding of GPU architecture and graphics pipeline.
• Familiarity with Git, CMake, and Visual Studio.
• Fluent English (Swedish is a plus).

Extra plus if you have experience with test automation (e.g., Squish), interest in AI/ML, or have worked with technologies like raycasting.

You can be relatively new in your career – perhaps straight from university or with a few years of experience. The most important thing is that you want to grow long-term together with ECDESIGN.
