As a Category Manager, you will have overall responsibility for driving and developing our categories within hair care and makeup. You will work strategically to strengthen our assortment, ensure profitability, and continue to establish Apotea as a leading player in these categories. With your business acumen and expertise, you play a key role in further developing our offering and identifying new growth opportunities. Reports to: Category Manager As a Category Manager for hair care and makeup, you will among other things Be responsible for developing and setting strategies, driving sales, and optimizing the assortment within the categories to meet customer needs. You will also ensure that Apotea stays at the forefront by identifying and introducing innovative products and brands based on market insights. - Negotiate assortment, purchase prices, and terms: Create profitable and long-term agreements that drive business development and growth. - Design and negotiate campaign and marketing plans: Collaborate with suppliers to develop successful campaigns that drive sales and enhance the customer experience. - Build strong partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with both existing and new suppliers. - Data-driven analysis: Follow up on category development using sales data and customer insights to identify improvement opportunities. - Product administration: Ensure that all product data is accurate and up-to-date for the categories you are responsible for. We are looking for someone who has - You have solid experience from roles in assortment or purchasing work, where you have successfully driven development and delivered results. - You have documented experience of successfully negotiating and optimizing business terms, including prices, contracts, and other commercial areas. - You are analytical, results-oriented, and business-minded, with the ability to balance both strategic and operational tasks and are driven by achieving goals and creating profitable collaborations. - You have relevant post-secondary education such as a business degree, engineering degree, or equivalent. - You have experience from e-commerce, the consumer industry, or the pharmacy sector.
