At Vår Omtanke, we are now looking for several personal assistants who want to work with our client in Holmsund In this role, you will make a difference in people's lives and work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

About the position

We are currently seeking a mature female personal assistant for a very positive man in his 30s living in Holmsund, about 16 km from Umeå city center. The client has extensive care needs and requires double assistance around the clock. The work is performed in the home.

Job Responsibilities

• Support and assistance in daily life, both practically and socially
• Personal care
• Active participation in the client's activities and routines
• Create a safe, harmonious, and positive environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Is honest, reliable, and has a warm demeanor
• Has empathy, patience, and attentiveness
• Has good social skills and is responsible
• Has experience in personal assistance or similar work
• Understands and speaks fluent Swedish (the client has a weak voice and needs to be understood)
• Is flexible, takes initiative, and has a strong work ethic
• Thrives with many routines, is very meticulous, and can think several steps ahead to anticipate needs
• Is not allergic to pets (a dog is present in the home)

Working hours and employment rate

1. Day shifts: 08:00–16:30 or 10:00–18:00,  
2. Evening shifts: 16:30–22:30,   Day and evening shifts  approx. 100% employment
3. Night shifts: 22:30–08:00 or 22:30–10:00 approx. 100% employment
4. We are also looking for substitutes as needed

Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement, other compensation according to collective agreement.

Start date: As soon as possible
