Production and Quality Technician

Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for optimizing production processes? Are you meticulous, solution-oriented, and passionate about quality assurance? Then you could be our new Production and Quality Technician!

As a Production and Quality Technician, you will play a central role in ensuring efficient production and the highest possible quality of our products. You will work operationally with our production staff to ensure that we meet our customers' requirements regarding the delivery of products and services. In this role, you will also continuously work on developing and improving our production processes, identifying quality deviations, and implementing measures to meet both our internal and customers' high standards at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality controls and inspections in collaboration with production staff.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement improvement measures.
• Handle urgent quality issues related to products and materials in production.
• Support customer meetings regarding product-related issues.
• Develop and implement improvement programs for quality and production.
• Structure and analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement together with customers.
• Ensure that quality and production requirements are met through close collaboration with the team.
• Train and support staff in quality and production issues.

You will report to the Production Manager and have several internal contacts within the company, primarily in production. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to production and quality issues, who is meticulous and possesses strong analytical problem-solving skills.

To be considered for this role, we expect you to have a relevant post-secondary education and several years of experience in operational quality and production work within the manufacturing industry.

Good knowledge of quality and production tools and methods is essential for success in this role, e.g., Six Sigma, Lean.

You are proactive and thrive in an environment where you can develop and improve processes, and with your practical and flexible approach, you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
