Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary according to the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is active, attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• want to work with an 18-year-old girl in Ulricehamn
• have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• have experience communicating using pictures and signs
• have experience with disabilities, EP, and tube feeding
• have a driver's license to drive the client's car
• are not allergic to pets

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a driver's license and a car to get to the workplace
• share the client's interests such as swimming, walks in all weather, TV, and YouTube
• see the work as a long-term commitment

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 70%. The job involves work during daytime, evening, or night.

Rolling 4-week schedule with 2-3 shifts per week. Work every other weekend. Current schedule as follows: week 1 Wed 14:15-21:30 + Thu 15:15-21:30 week 2 Wed 14:15-21:30 + Thu 15:15-07:30 + Sun 07:30-07:30 week 3 Wed 14:15-21:30 + Thu 15:15-07:30 week 4 Mon 15:15-07:30 + Fri 12:30-12:30 + Sun 12:30-07:30 On-call is for 5.5 hours every night approximately between 22:00-07:00 with active interventions.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.
