About the organization 

At Patia Special Solutions, we work to create safe, individualized solutions based on the one-to-one treatment concept for children and young people aged 12–21 who need their own accommodation and a dedicated support team. Our services are aimed at young people with special needs, such as neuropsychiatric variations, self-harming behaviors, or challenges in receiving support alongside peers. We believe in the power of tailored interventions and offer flexible solutions that truly meet each young person where they are.

We are a dedicated team that works closely with the young people to create comprehensive solutions that combine accommodation/support and treatment according to SoL or LVU. The organization is located in Huddinge municipality.

About the position 

We are now looking for two treatment pedagogues for our Special Solutions HVB operations. The work involves shifts during weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and we work based on on-call shifts combined with daytime shifts. As a treatment pedagogue, you will work to help create a safe and meaningful existence for the young people. You will support them based on their individual needs and be part of the team that together creates stability, security, and continuity in daily life.

Your tasks 

In your role as a treatment pedagogue, you will among other things:

• Conduct motivational conversations and offer support in contacts with authorities.
• Work with social skills training and support clients in their development.
• Collaborate with your team based on the youth's care and treatment plan.
• Cooperate with other important actors for the client's development and health.
• Perform administrative tasks such as daily record-keeping and establishing and revising implementation plans and risk analyses.
• Be responsible for monthly reporting to the responsible social worker.

We are looking for a relationship-oriented treatment pedagogue who has the ability to meet people with different needs and personalities. You are secure in yourself and can adapt your working methods to create meaningful relationships with clients, which is an important quality for successfully working in social work and client-centered support.

To succeed in this role, you should be flexible and have an engaged attitude, which allows you to handle various situations and challenges in the work professionally. Your drive and passion for contributing to individuals' development and well-being are crucial for creating long-term changes in their lives.

With a strong interest in social work, behavioral change, and supporting people in difficult life situations, you will play an important role in promoting clients' health and well-being.

Your qualifications

To succeed in the role of treatment pedagogue, we see that you have:

• Post-secondary education equivalent to at least two years of full-time studies (400 YH credits or 120 HP), for example, as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or social worker.
• At least 2 years of work experience in social work and good knowledge of the Social Services Act.
• You master the Swedish language fluently in both spoken and written form.
• A driver's license (B) is required.
• If you also have relevant model and method knowledge, such as MI, TMO, or BBIC, it is an advantage.
• Experience working with young people with various NPF diagnoses and mental challenges.
• Basic cooking skills (advantageous, as cooking is part of the job duties).
• Competence in rePULSE is advantageous.

• Previous work in HVB is advantageous.
