In the role of car painter, you are responsible for preparing, masking, and painting passenger and commercial vehicles according to manufacturers' and customers' requirements. Job responsibilities for car painters – Painting, preparation, and quality control

• Preparation for painting, e.g., sanding, masking, and priming
• Mix colors according to color codes and requirements for color reproduction
• Paint cars and details with high precision and focus on finish
• Perform quality controls, polishing, and final finishing
• Document completed work digitally according to procedures
• Collaborate with sheet metal workers, mechanics, and damage advisors
• Contribute to order, safety, and improvements in the paint shop

Qualifications & requirements for the position as a car painter at Werksta Helsingborg

• Education in automotive/painting or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience in car painting, preparation, and color mixing
• Familiarity with modern painting systems and spray equipment
• Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and service-minded
• Ability to follow work orders and manufacturers' instructions
• Valid driver's license (B) is a requirement
• You enjoy both independent work and collaboration within a team
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
