We are looking for new employees to join our team at Texavägen's children's and youth residence in Taberg, just outside Jönköping. Nytida offers training and a developing job where you can make a difference! We are seeking several employees for both full-time and part-time positions.
About Texavägen
Texavägen caters to children and youth who have a diagnosis within the autism spectrum and/or intellectual disabilities and therefore need help and support in their daily lives. The facility has five places and the age range is between 8-17 years.
A clear pedagogical approach should make it easy to live and work with us. Clarifying pedagogy and AAC should permeate the entire operation and create predictability for both our residents and our staff. About the role
In the role of support staff, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
You will have a group leader or group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests in mind in everything you do.
