About the organization At Patia Special Solutions, we work to create safe, individualized solutions based on the concept of one-on-one treatment for children and young people aged 12–21 who need their own accommodation and a dedicated support team. Our organization caters to youth with special needs, such as neuropsychiatric variations, self-harming behaviors, or challenges in receiving support alongside others. The organization is located in Huddinge municipality.

About the position We are now looking for hourly employed housing supporters for our Special Solutions HVB operation. The work involves working during weekdays, evenings, and weekends, with the possibility to influence your working hours. Start date is according to agreement.

As a housing supporter, you work to help create a safe and meaningful existence for the youth. You support them based on their individual needs and are part of the team that together creates stability, security, and continuity in everyday life.

Your tasks In your role as a housing supporter, you will among other things:

- Perform client-related work based on individual needs and care plans from social services.

- Provide support in the form of social skills training, motivational conversations, and assistance with authority contacts.

- Offer transportation support and collaborate with other actors who are important for the client's development.

- Handle administrative tasks such as daily record-keeping according to the Social Services Act.

- Be responsible for cooking in connection with client work.

We are looking for someone who is relationship-oriented, attentive, and has a genuine ability to meet people with different needs and personalities. As a housing supporter, it is important that you are confident in yourself and used to making independent decisions in varying situations. You have a solution-focused and flexible attitude that allows you to handle challenges in a professional and engaged manner.

Your strong passion for supporting people in vulnerable life situations and contributing to their long-term development is a central quality in the role. You are skilled at creating meaningful relationships with clients and adapting your working methods based on their unique needs. With your commitment and drive, you can make a positive and lasting difference in the clients' lives.

Your qualifications

To succeed in the role of housing supporter, we see that you have:

• Completed or ongoing post-secondary education in social work.
• B driver's license (requirement, as the position includes transportation support).
• At least two years of experience working with youth with various NPF diagnoses and mental challenges.
• Basic cooking skills (meritorious, as cooking is part of the tasks).

• Previous work in HVB is meritorious.
