Do you want to work at the forefront of technology and be the driving force behind supplier quality in complex and high-tech purchases? We are now looking for an engaged Supply Quality Manager who wants to influence the quality of products and systems with high demands on precision, safety, and reliability. 

In this role, you will quality assure purchased items, materials, and subsystems within these product categories according to strategies, policies, and procedures. You are expected to take responsibility for quality requirements in requests for quotes, contracts, and purchase orders. It is your responsibility to conduct process audits at suppliers and products on-site at suppliers. Quality assurance and a desire to improve quality are important components of your role.

Other examples of tasks in the role may include handling defect cases, being responsible for claims of materials that do not meet specifications, and following up and controlling suppliers' quality performance. You will also work with corrective actions and drive improvement programs in close collaboration with suppliers. If necessary, you will conduct root cause analyses to identify underlying causes of deviations, as well as risk analyses to prevent future quality issues. We welcome knowledge of 8D, DMAIC, 6σ, RCA, MSA, FMEA, and similar quality tools.

The role is based in Linköping.
