We are looking for personal assistants for a 40-year-old man with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who resides in Upplands Väsby. We are seeking staff for schedule completion and therefore offer a part-time position. The tasks include personal hygiene, care, medication (with some delegation), transfers (with a ceiling lift), training in tracheostomy care (delegation via Danderyd Hospital), meal situations, and dressing/undressing.

In connection with a possible introduction, you will also be booked for two delegations.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• There is double assistance around the clock, with shifts scheduled for 8 hours during the day (08:00-16:00), 8 hours in the evening (16:00-24:00), and 8 hours at night (24:00-08:00), Mon-Sun. There is awake night duty with this client.

About you As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. We place great importance on your competence in handling care and support tasks as well as experience in documentation and adherence to work routines. We believe that you who are applying for this position are a person who is attentive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as an applicant and the client. This can be decisive in the final selection. You must

• Have experience working as a personal assistant,
• Be smoke-free,
• Master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing,
• Be able to present a valid extract from your criminal record from the Police upon potential employment.

It is an advantage if you

• Hold a B driver's license (and have access to a car),
• Have started or completed a healthcare education,
• Possess coaching skills.

Scope: Extra/as needed. Number of positions: 2.  Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the positions will be filled as soon as possible.  Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
