What we do and want

We are now looking for summer substitutes for our group homes for people with disabilities.

In a group home, residents live in their own apartments with direct access to shared spaces.

As a summer substitute with us, you will have a varied job with the opportunity to work with everyday tasks as well as participate in the planning and execution of summer activities.

About the position

As an employee, you provide support of both caregiving and social nature, as well as support regarding ADL (activities of daily living). The operations are based on LSS and the support is based on individually designed implementation plans. As a summer substitute, you also have an important mission to enhance the summer for those living in the group home.

The overall goal is to promote good living conditions based on the individual’s unique circumstances. In addition to practical work with the target group, administrative tasks such as social documentation and incident management are also included. The work may also involve simpler medical tasks that require delegation from a nurse associated with the operation.

The position involves irregular working hours where daytime, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts occur. In some operations, awake night shifts may also be present. You will often work in a team with experienced colleagues.

Who are you?

You who are applying should have a high school education, and it is an advantage if you have relevant education for the area of operations, such as childcare worker, mental health worker, or nursing assistant.

It is also advantageous if you have knowledge in AAC, clear pedagogy, and low-arousal responses. Since the work places high demands on communication and includes administrative tasks, you need to be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing.

We are looking for engaged, confident, and attentive individuals who are over 18 years old. You who are applying should understand that working with the target group places high demands on flexibility and adaptability regarding both tasks and interactions. We would also like you to have experience with the target group.
