Build, develop, and lead a vital community service

We are now looking for a Operations Manager with documented experience in exit programs who will have the overall responsibility to build, develop, and lead this business area. The role is central and requires both deep operational knowledge and a secure, present leadership.

About the assignment

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for strategically and operationally developing the exit program. You will ensure that the interventions are of high quality, legally secure, and tailored to the complex needs of the target group. The assignment involves close collaboration with clients, authorities, and other community actors.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the establishment, development, and results of the exit program
• Strategic, operational, and financial responsibility (budget, follow-up, reporting)
• Develop methods, processes, and quality work within the exit program
• Lead, support, and develop employees and consultants to a high professional standard
• Ensure safety, ethics, and legal security in all parts of the operation
• Collaborate with municipalities, authorities, the justice system, and civil society
• Represent the operation towards clients and partners

Qualifications – requirements

• Documented experience working in exit programs (operationally and/or in a leadership role)
• Good understanding of the target group and the risks, safety issues, and ethical considerations involved in the work
• Experience in organizational development and structured quality work
• Familiarity with collaboration with the public sector and law enforcement agencies
• Experience in leadership with personnel and/or assignment responsibility
• Very good ability to build trust, both internally and externally

Meritorious

• Previous management role in exit programs or related fields
• Relevant higher education (e.g., social work, behavioral science, criminology, law)
• Knowledge of security planning, threat and risk assessments
