Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that collaborates with clients to create personalized assistance. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are key to effective assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are now looking for dedicated personal assistants to work with a cheerful 29-year-old man with a brain injury living in Norrtälje.

The tasks include helping him with everything in daily life, such as:

• Personal hygiene
• Dressing and undressing
• Meals via peg and regular food
• Using a pep mask
• Exercise and other activities such as swimming weekly in a rehab pool

It is an advantage if you have experience working with individuals with brain injuries and total care needs. You should be attentive, meticulous, and responsible. Furthermore, you should be communicative and have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Developing our staff's skills is part of ensuring the quality of personal assistance. If you are offered the position, you are expected to complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before your first shift, or at the latest within three weeks of starting your employment. The training aims to create security for both the personal assistant and the client.

Working hours / Duration: Our working hours are Daytime 7-14 & 7-15, Evening shifts are 14-21 & 15:15-22, and Night 21-07. We apply a fixed-term employment form "as long as the assignment lasts" as well as hourly employment.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreements.

Start date: Immediate. Three introductory days, two day shifts and one evening shift. More days can be booked if needed.
