This is what an Account Manager does during the day
As an Account Manager, you primarily work with sales through physical customer visits, but also via phone and email. This means many pleasant meetings with interesting people and companies from various industries. On a daily basis, the job involves planning, proposing existing as well as innovative solutions, and booking various campaigns. An important part is to continuously work on developing customer relationships, but you will also perform prospecting and new customer acquisition with a focus on long-term sales. The sales cycles are of varying nature, and you always own your own deals – which means a lot of freedom with responsibility.
With us, you will work with some of the region's, Sweden's, and the world's strongest brands – with the goal of creating the best media mix that fits the customer's needs. You will be an important part of a tight-knit team where everyone works to achieve the best effect for the local business community in Norrbotten and Västerbotten. Of course, we will build a toolbox for you through a thorough introduction to both sales and NTM's products, all to ensure that you thrive and succeed in your new role.
Your background / qualities
We are looking for someone who finds sales as enjoyable as we do!
It is advantageous if you have experience working proactively with corporate clients. Being interested in the media industry and building good customer relationships is a given. Perhaps you also have a post-secondary education in, for example, digital communication or similar. Since the role involves many visits to existing as well as new customers, a B driver's license is required. Furthermore, you speak and write fluently in Swedish.
We have no doubt that you possess many good qualities, but for this role, we are looking for someone who recognizes themselves as open to change, who sees opportunities instead of obstacles, and who enjoys challenges. You like networking and social contexts and can adapt your approach depending on who you meet. We believe you gain energy from meeting new people and want a job with many contact points. You are not afraid to take the first step towards a conversation and strive to deliver solutions by working consultatively with customers. Furthermore, you are a team player who humbly contributes your help to the team – here we share our knowledge!
