About the role

As a group leader, your primary task is to coach and work in the daily care work together with the team. This means you are a role model for your employees, and through your strong commitment, you create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You will work during the day, on weekends, and in the evenings.

• Close leadership: This role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality-assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and acknowledging your employees in their daily work. You have a group leader colleague, and you collaborate, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
• Participation: As a group leader, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.

About Karlslund

Karlslund offers 40 permanent accommodation places in bright, fresh premises. We provide individually tailored care based on the individual's needs and wishes. A strong focus is placed on activities for our residents.

Karlslund is located in the northern part of central Ängelholm with good transport connections. The accommodation consists of four departments spread over two floors. The accommodation includes shared outdoor areas and balconies. A large common room is available on the ground floor. Here, there is the opportunity for larger group activities such as music entertainment, chair gymnastics, bingo, film screenings, joint celebrations, breakfast buffets, and more.

• Activity coordinator: We work systematically with activities and have an activity coordinator who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
• Needs-based wish schedule: We apply a needs-based wish schedule. This means that you and your employees have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and wishes. We schedule for 5 weeks at a time.
• Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care, and we have regular visits from therapy animals.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a trained nursing assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is an advantage for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
