JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about equine veterinary care and want to be part of a safe, competent, and cohesive team? District Veterinarians Flyinge is now looking for a veterinarian focused on horses who wants to contribute to the development of our operations through their medical expertise and engagement in building a strong team. We are looking for someone who primarily works with horses, with an emphasis on orthopedic investigations, both in the clinic and in the field.

We offer a well-equipped equine practice with access to modern equipment, including mobile X-ray, ultrasound, endoscope/gastroscope, objective motion analysis, and a well-equipped blood laboratory.

With us, you will work in an environment where care, professionalism, and team spirit go hand in hand. We offer individualized further development based on your goals and areas of interest. If you have a particular interest in orthopedics, you will thrive with us, as we are eager to strengthen our orthopedic focus. Your role will be leading in orthopedics at the clinic, which means we are looking for someone with a burning interest and experience in this area. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the equine clinic.

On-call duty is included in the position. We actively work for sustainable preparedness with a focus on recovery, and you will always have access to support from colleagues, the on-call manager, and the District Veterinarians' emergency organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed veterinarian with a focus on equine orthopedics and work experience. A B driver's license is required for the position.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, have good collaboration skills, and be solution-oriented. It is important that you can work independently and be self-driven while appreciating collaboration with colleagues.

Furthermore, you need to have good computer skills and strong administrative abilities, as tasks such as bookings and record-keeping are an important part of the job.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to a fantastic team and an exciting workplace and sees development as a natural part of professional life.

Does this sound like the next step for you? Then we hope you want to be part of our Flyinge team.

Selection and interviews are ongoing.

Warm welcome with your application!
