Registered Nurse Wanted for Mobile Team in Region Skåne

To meet the residents' need for closer and more accessible care, Region Skåne has started a new form of care in collaboration with existing care providers. We have established a mobile team that strengthens home care and offers safe, coordinated, and high-quality care for patients who prefer it over hospital care. The team acts as a hub in the care chain and is responsible for assessing, planning, prescribing, and delivering services directly in the patient's home. All care is tailored to each patient's individual medical and psychosocial needs.

The operation started in January 2023 and currently consists of doctors, nurses, social workers, and medical secretaries. Furthermore, we operate from our premises at the Hospital in Landskrona and are staffed every day between 8 AM and 5 PM. On weekdays, we work from Landskrona, while weekend work is done in close collaboration with colleagues in Helsingborg and Ängelholm.

As a nurse, you will work according to proportional working hours, which means working every sixth weekend, three public holidays per year, and a weekly working time of 39.42 hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be one of six nurses in the team. In this role, you will actively participate in planning patients' care together with other professionals and collaborate closely with other care providers. Work often occurs in pairs with one of the unit's doctors, but you also have significant individual responsibility and conduct independent, planned home visits. Your tasks include blood transfusions, antibiotic injections, wound care, and catheter changes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are also required for the position. Since care is provided in the patient's home or in special housing, a valid B driver's license is also a requirement. We prefer that you have several years of experience in somatic care.

You have good professional skills and enjoy working in a team, as a large part of the work is done in collaboration with colleagues and other care providers. At the same time, you are confident in independently driving your work, always with the patient and their relatives in focus. You are also flexible, responsive, and proactive.
