Now there is a great opportunity to join the Finance Manager in building up the finance department of a company that is on a very exciting expansion journey. Vartex, part of WeSports, is now looking for you as an Accounting Manager, and you are much awaited! This is a new role that you will develop together with the Finance Manager, to whom you will also report. A lot is happening here. The position is located at the office in central Malmö, and you will be part of an ambitious and competent team of a total of five people in finance. At Vartex, you have the mandate to change and streamline. You work closely where decisions are made and are highly involved in them, in a broad role with many points of contact.

You will report to Robin Gunnarsson, an experienced, knowledgeable, engaged, and incredibly humble leader who cares about you and your development. You will do this together!

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Responsible for executing and owning the process around monthly and annual financial statements
• Ongoing accounting
• Responsible for accurate reporting, both to the group and externally
• Preparation of tax returns and annual reports
• Primary contact person for auditors
• Streamlining processes and routines
• Ensuring compliance with accounting rules and group requirements
• Leading and coaching two finance assistants

Have we caught your interest?

To thrive in this role, we see that you have solid experience in accounting and are confident and self-sufficient in the entire closing process. You are used to having overall responsibility for accounting and leading finance assistants in their work. You have a post-secondary education in finance and at least 3-5 years of experience as an accounting economist. As a person, you are curious, driven, and meticulous. Experience in e-commerce or retail is highly meritorious. You are a team player and motivated to achieve results together with the team.
