We are now looking for an electrician for our maintenance organization with placement in central maintenance of overhead cranes.

About the position

You will be part of a central, operations-oriented department that works with assignments related to our overhead cranes throughout the plant in Borlänge. As an electrician in our crane group, you will work with preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to support high availability and development of our cranes. In the crane group, you work independently, often in teams of two, where you are responsible for the preparation/planning and execution of tasks. The work is regularly performed at high altitudes.

Your main responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and preventive/corrective maintenance on our cranes.
• Electrical maintenance of crane equipment and its components.
• Planning and preparation in the IFS maintenance system.
• Root cause analysis and improvement work.
• Updating and developing preventive maintenance.

About you

• We are looking for someone with a high school education in electrical engineering, automation, control technology, or drive systems, or equivalent documented knowledge in electrical work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English as documentation and communication with suppliers occur in these languages.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.
• We place great importance on personal qualities, and for the position as an electrician, we are looking for a meticulous and structured person.
• To thrive in the role, we believe you have the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• You need to be able to take initiative and be proactive in your work when the situation requires it.
• Since you will have close collaboration with both internal and external colleagues, we are looking for someone who is communicative and feels comfortable reaching out to various roles and positions within the organization, both internal and external.
