Responsibilities

As a caretaker at First Camp, you will perform tasks related to the ongoing maintenance at the destination, such as lawn mowing, changing light bulbs, simple carpentry work, general property maintenance at the destination, and addressing reports of faults from our guests. Your main tasks include general caretaking duties, but in addition, you will also help with staffing the reception and local cleaning when needed, as well as be able to support other tasks at the destination.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have experience working as a caretaker, property manager, or have experience in a similar field. Having completed education in the field is advantageous but not a requirement for the position. However, you need to be handy, enjoy physical work, like to have flexible working days, and have a high problem-solving ability.

We place great emphasis on personality and look forward to welcoming new colleagues with a genuine interest in our guests. You have a quick learning ability and can easily understand what needs to be prioritized when there is a lot to do. You adapt when the work situation changes and are good at collaborating with others and compromising. Furthermore, you need to be able to communicate without difficulty in Swedish or English to receive work instructions and interact with our international guests.

Conditions

The position is a permanent part-time position at 50%, 100% working hours between May and October, and is covered by a collective agreement. The working hours vary and also include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The salary follows the Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union collective agreement.
