About the position

As an alarm technician with us at Teknofix, you will work with installations, commissioning, and service primarily for Securitas Direct's systems but also other systems. We operate throughout Dalarna and Kopparberg. Your tasks will include planning, cable laying, installations, commissioning, functionality testing, and documentation. Since it is important for us to always ensure that our customers have the right solution, you will also work with upselling.

The work is varied with corporate clients from many different industries and assignments of varying nature. The position offers both independent tasks and assignments together with your colleagues, and you will have the opportunity to develop skills in several different technology and security areas.

We offer alarms and alarm solutions for many different situations, such as burglary alarms, personal protection alarms, assault alarms, fire warning systems, operational alarms, and object protection. We also provide complete solutions for video surveillance and access control.

We mainly target businesses, but also private individuals who have high demands for security installations. The foundation of our alarms, burglary alarms, and security systems is high-tech quality with fast and secure connectivity. With our own 24/7 staffed alarm center, we become a very strong organization with local presence for a quick and secure response.

Who are we looking for?

• As a person, we see that you are a team player with great social skills.
• You should be able to work purposefully in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a group.
• You are proactive and driven in your own development.
• A technical education at least at the high school level in areas such as low current/alarm/security or as an electrician is advantageous.
• Since close and daily contact with our customers is an important part of your everyday work, you need to have a friendly, professional demeanor characterized by high quality.
• Previous experience in our industry is a plus. Perhaps you have worked with alarm installations before or have experience in other areas such as cameras or fire and evacuation alarms and want to develop with us.
• You are familiar with technology and enjoy showcasing your skills and have an easy time learning new things.
• You thrive in a flexible work environment where you take significant personal responsibility.

As you will be working with security-classified objects, we will need to obtain an extract from the criminal record.

Swedish citizenship and a B driver's license are required.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a fixed monthly salary. You will work from home, and our office is located in Gagnef. The work is scheduled during the day, and the start date is to be agreed upon.
