We are looking for a dedicated and responsible vehicle driver to join our recycling services team! At Vamas, you make a difference every day for those living, working, and visiting the Malung-Sälen municipality.

About the assignment

Vamas plays an important role in the municipality's long-term development. We have a significant responsibility to ensure good community service and a sustainable environment. In this position, you will work broadly with waste and recycling.

We are looking for a responsible and reliable vehicle driver to collect and transport waste safely and efficiently. Your main station will be Sälfjället, but you will also assist and support other collection areas.

You will be part of a team that works to drive and develop collection in our municipality.

In this role, you will:

• Collect waste from various pickup locations
• Manage vehicles
• Interact with customers
• Have the opportunity to learn about different recycling processes and techniques
• Have chances to be part of a community-engaged and environmentally conscious company
• Participate in the development of operations and routines

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Is engaged, meticulous, and quality-conscious

• Has good collaborative skills
• Has the following qualifications: C and YKB
• Has good computer skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience driving waste collection vehicles such as side loaders and rear loaders
• ADR, Work on the Road, and CE qualifications
• Crane license
• Driver's license for wheel loaders

Other information

We are continuously working with selection for interviews. This means that the position may be filled before the application deadline, which is 2025-02-07. Start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
