We are looking for five production leaders for the Logistics department, specifically for the Goods and Returns as well as Picking and Warehouse sections.

About the department

Within Goods and Returns handling, we manage complaints, returns, and goods reception. The department is also responsible for forklift handling, cleanliness, and workwear for logistics in Grängesberg and Hällefors. By ensuring smooth processes and high quality, we contribute to creating a reliable and well-functioning logistics chain that supports the entire operation. The department consists of 27 employees, including 2 production leaders.

Picking and Warehouse is a central part of Spendrups' logistics operations. Here, we handle customer order picking, where we pick individual orders and display pallets with precision and efficiency to meet our customers' needs. The warehouse operation is the hub where our products are stored and organized, enabling smooth and quality-focused handling from order to delivery. Together, we create a reliable and efficient logistics solution that supports the entire operation. The department consists of 86 employees, including 4 production leaders and 6 shift leaders.

About the role

As a production leader, you play a central role in leading and developing daily work. The role has an operational focus but also a strategic responsibility to develop the department, processes, and routines. You drive improvement work while ensuring that the operation achieves its goals.

As a production leader, you are the first-line manager and have personnel responsibility for your team of about 20-25 employees. In this role, you report to the Logistics Manager.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead and plan daily work, in close collaboration with shift leaders
• Lead and follow up on the department's work to ensure that we achieve goals related to safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and employee focus (SQLE-M)
• Coach and motivate employees to create a positive and engaging work environment
• Be responsible for the work environment and ensure that safety and quality standards are met
• Budget responsibility and financial follow-up for the department
• Recruit and onboard new employees and coach their long-term development
• Build good relationships and promote cross-functional collaboration across functional boundaries

Requirements and personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is a confident and clear leader with a strong commitment to developing both the operation and the employees.

We see that you have:

• At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position with personnel responsibility, preferably in production or logistics
• Post-secondary education in logistics, production, or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as proficiency in the Office package
• It is a merit if you have experience in structured improvement work or similar
