Infranord's Measurement Unit is looking for Drivers and Operators of Measurement Cars with a strong focus on quality and safety, based in central or southern Sweden.

The Measurement Unit specializes in railway-specific measurements focusing on infrastructure with measurement cars and non-destructive testing. The Measurement Unit within Infranord AB has approximately 40 employees geographically dispersed across the country to be close to the customer and the facility to be measured and controlled. The office activities are located in Borlänge where we also perform maintenance and calibration of our measurement cars.

Job Responsibilities

As a Driver and Operator of Measurement Cars, you will be part of a team working with Periodic Measurement where you play an important role in building a culture focused on safety, working environment, and excellent customer service. The Measurement Unit performs measurements of tracks and overhead lines throughout Sweden but also in Norway and Denmark. As a Driver and Operator of Measurement Cars, you will work both as a measurement operator on the vehicles and as a driver operating our measurement vehicles.

The work is mainly carried out in accordance with an annual plan/schedule and involves a lot of travel and places high demands on flexibility. Night and weekend work and assignments in Norway/Denmark may occur. We strive to mainly work according to a 7-7 schedule.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is used to working independently, has a strong focus on safety and quality, is accustomed to planning, executing, following up, and delivering according to set goals and deadlines. As a person, you are service-oriented with an understanding of our customers' requirements. You should be responsible, meticulous, and enjoy solving problems both on vehicles and measurement systems.

A high school education with good verbal and written communication skills and good computer skills is required. A B driver's license is mandatory. The position requires a successful health examination for security services before a decision on employment is made.

We are primarily looking for someone who is a train driver, holds a train driver's license, and is certified as a train driver in the H and M traffic systems. As a driver, it is advantageous if you:
- Are certified in any of the E2, E3, R systems.
- Hold the qualification as Safety and Security Manager in the Traffic Administration's tracks.
- Hold the qualification as Supervisor AEL protection in the Traffic Administration's tracks.

We provide internal training to become a measurement car operator. As a measurement car operator, it is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in reading track position diagrams, e.g., as a leveler on track aligners or similar.
- Railway technical education and experience in the railway industry.
