We are now looking for a driven and curious machine operator for our client in the chemical and plastics industry in Malmö! As an operator in production, you will work with standard operator tasks at the extruder, such as weighing, packaging, and mixing. The position requires that you are meticulous, flexible, responsible, and have a good understanding of chemistry. In addition, we are looking for someone who has a forklift license and good physical ability, as the job may involve heavy lifting. Some tasks include working with machines, and the environment can be dusty.

Who are you? 

Personal qualities that we value highly are that you are self-driven, responsible, and willing to take initiative. You need to be observant and able to monitor both the machine and the work. You are social, but some parts of the work shift involve being alone at the machine, which you should be able to handle by taking your own initiative. You thrive in an industrial setting, at a fast pace, and with varying tasks.

Requirements for the position:

- A few years of work experience in production

- Available for work either on 2-shift or permanent night

- Good documentation skills and a solid understanding of chemistry

- Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

- Forklift license A+B

- A driver's license and access to a car are required for travel to and from the workplace.

Meritorious:

- Experience working with various quality systems - experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is an advantage

- Previous work experience in extrusion

- Experience reading formulations

- Driver's license and access to a car
