As the hotel consists of many different restaurants and kitchens, there are excellent development opportunities for the right person, as well as the chance to build a long-term kitchen career within the hotel. As a sous chef at Grand Hôtel, you are covered by the collective agreement with HRF.

A common feature of the work in all our kitchens is that we place great emphasis on quality and value the craft of cooking. In all our kitchens, we do as much as possible from scratch.

ABOUT VERANDAN

Verandan is our elegant and timeless restaurant that offers an extensive à la carte menu focusing on Swedish and Nordic flavors. With a relaxed atmosphere and a large terrace overlooking the water, Verandan is a popular spot for both hotel guests and visitors to Stockholm. Therefore, you should have solid knowledge of Swedish cuisine and traditional dishes when applying for this position.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate sous chef who has:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the restaurant industry, preferably with experience in leadership positions.
• Skills in cooking and menu planning, with specific knowledge relevant to each restaurant (Swedish, international, French, and Italian).
• A strong work ethic and stress resilience
• Leadership skills and the ability to inspire and coach the team - You should be able to create a positive work environment and ensure that the quality of service and cooking is maintained at the highest level.
• A passion for food - We are looking for individuals who are passionate about creating memorable experiences for our guests.
