We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children’s lives. We would like you to be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to the children’s needs.

Qualifications:

• We prefer that you have education or ongoing education as a preschool assistant
• Previous experience working in preschool is highly meritorious
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written.
• You have good knowledge of the curriculum content and feel that you can contribute to the development of the organization together with colleagues in a collegial learning environment.
• You have good knowledge of Office365

At Norlandia Preschool Rimbo, every day is an adventure in the wonders of nature. We integrate care, education, and health with an exploratory approach focusing on play and sustainable development. Our bright preschool is located near forests and nature, and we have our own large yard.

Our philosophy: We see nature as an important learning environment and strive to awaken children’s curiosity and love for nature while encouraging creativity.

Our team: Our educators are certified in Skogsmulle, and both children and staff become members of Friluftsfrämjandet at no cost to guardians. We see the forest as both a classroom and a learning environment.

Our unique features

• Outdoor education with regular excursions to the forest to discover and explore. The chance to experience biodiversity and learn about environmental care through our forest visits. A gardening project that teaches children about sustainability, from seed to plant, soil to table through growing their own vegetables and flowers.
• Language work based on the Före Bornholm material at least three days a week.

At Norlandia Preschools, we offer you professional development every semester based on the preschool's prioritized goals and initiatives. You will be part of our unique concepts, professional development days at the preschool, central initiatives, and offerings in our digital learning platform.

Extent: 100%

Working hours: Schedule with times between 06:00 and 18:00

Start date: Autumn 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
