About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and established project manager, technical manager, or inspector within construction, property, and management to join a winning team.

The Facility Solutions section is part of the Building & Project Solutions Öresund market area. The market area has offices and colleagues in Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, Hässleholm, Jönköping, Karlskrona, Kristianstad, Oskarshamn, and Växjö.

You will belong to the Facility Solutions section with the opportunity to work from AFRY's offices in Malmö or Helsingborg. We provide services throughout the construction and management process and believe that digitalization is crucial throughout the lifecycle.

You will work with colleagues whose expertise spans both breadth and depth, with specialties in areas such as energy efficiency, inventory, management, project management, and digitalization.

We believe you love interacting with people and are skilled at leading towards common goals. You understand the importance of communication and coordination both within the group and with our clients and other stakeholders.

As a project leader, you will be responsible for leading assignments in their entirety regarding client responsibility, execution, quality, resource planning, time, and budget. You will also be involved in the department's marketing and bidding efforts.

Our clients are in both the private and public sectors, and projects range from smaller renovations and extensions to large new construction and prestige projects. Assignments span maintenance planning for housing associations, condition inspections, energy mapping, all the way to complex Construction Management assignments. Our good collaboration within AFRY's other disciplines also generates many exciting assignments and opportunities for development.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with more than 7 years of experience in project management, management, and/or inspection within construction and property, which should be verifiable in your CV. You have a university degree in engineering or similar, or equivalent work experience. Certification as a project manager, construction manager, inspector, control manager, or accessibility expert is a plus.

As a person, you are clear and structured, and you see good communication as a natural part of your work style. You have a drive to motivate and engage colleagues and maintain good relationships with our clients.

Understanding the digital business and the connection between BIM, project management, and management is obvious to you. If you also have a well-developed sustainability mindset and are well updated on environmental building, that is a significant plus.

As a person, you are positive and engaged with a well-developed self-leadership. You understand the importance of communication and coordination both within the group and with the client and other stakeholders. You are good at leading a group towards set goals; in your project group, everyone knows what is expected of them and has good conditions to prioritize in line with the project's goals.
