About the role Bilfinger Maintenance Sweden is one of five business areas within Bilfinger Engineering & Maintenance Nordics AB, focusing on maintenance of industrial plants. The technicians within Maintenance ensure that customers' facilities function properly, avoid unplanned factory shutdowns, and perform service, repairs, and project work. Today, the business area has over three hundred employees and operates from Helsingborg in the south to Skellefteå in the north.
As a plastic technician, you will have a central role in both operational work and the development of Bilfinger's new business in plastic welding and plastic processing. The role involves:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of plastic equipment, both in the field and in workshop environments.
- Participating in rebuilds, new installations, and repairs at Bilfinger's customers, with a special focus on the company's main customer Kemira AB in Helsingborg.
- Working with plastic welding and manufacturing plastic parts for various projects.
- Identifying, documenting, and preparing assignments, and ensuring that work is carried out within planned time and cost frames.
- Participating in improvement work for operations, HSEQ (health, safety, environment, and quality), and maintenance activities.
- Travel within the position may occur, and on-call duty may be required. For the right person, there is also the opportunity for work and project management.
About you We are looking for someone with technical expertise and experience in plastic processing and plastic welding. You are a self-reliant problem solver who thrives in a varied and customer-oriented role. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:
- At least 3 years of experience in plastic welding and repair work of plastic equipment.
- Knowledge of different plastic materials and their areas of use.
- A driver's license and good computer skills.
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- An analytical and risk-aware work style.
Merits include experience in the chemical industry, work with industrial pipes or HVAC, as well as certificates such as a lift permit or similar.

Working hours: 7-16.00 and on-call work according to a rotating schedule
