We are now looking for an on-call nurse at Nytida Sorbus for our SoL accommodation in Skene. The position is a fixed-term employment contract with only on-call duties during evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as the possibility of temporary work during the absence of the regular nurse.

About Nytida Sorbus

Nytida Sorbus's target group is people with Huntington's disease and younger individuals with cognitive impairment. The facility is located close to nature and has easy access to public transport. You will be part of a smaller workgroup with close collaboration between different professions. The facility also employs a team leader and a manager. The facility has its own nurses who work irregular hours.

We offer ongoing methodological training and several benefits.

As an on-call nurse, you will be responsible for the work within the healthcare part of our operations when needs arise in the evenings, nights, and/or weekends. You will be on-call at home and perform active work at the accommodation as needed. This means that you will work with and care for our clients' physical and mental well-being, medication management, and other tasks included in the on-call work.

We actively work to change the perception of mental disabilities by always starting from individual needs and wishes. As a nurse, you play an important role in our work regarding this. Our goal is to help provide each person with the individual tools and strategies they need to live a meaningful life.

Your experience and knowledge 

You are a licensed nurse with experience and knowledge of individuals with both somatic and psychiatric issues.

We consider it an advantage if you have further education in psychiatry and/or experience in similar work.
