The Role As our next piping engineer, you will play a central role in the planning, design, and installation of piping systems in process engineering facilities. You will be involved in the entire process, from quotes and estimation to engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning. An important part of your work will be to optimize piping routes considering pipe stress criteria and prepare piping MTO.

You will also be responsible for ongoing communication with contractors and clients. In your role as a piping engineer, you will be part of the entire supply chain for process design and construction. This means developing process engineering solutions and functions, selecting components and materials, drawing flow diagrams, creating component and pipe lists, drafting specifications for equipment, 3D modeling, and preparing documentation for manufacturing and installation.

• We prefer that you have a technical education from a university, college, or vocational training, but it is also advantageous if you have gained equivalent knowledge through practical work.

• At least two years of experience in piping design and have worked on projects within the process, energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical industries.

• Experience with software such as Aveva E3D, Plant3D, Smart Plant, PDMS, or AutoCAD is preferred.

• We also appreciate if you have experience in 3D modeling and piping design systems, as well as knowledge of safe design and construction of pressure piping.

You have a strong drive to develop together with your colleagues and value engagement and responsibility in your tasks. A good business approach is important to you, as our internal and external contacts are based on collaboration and good relationships.

We hope you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
