EcoDataCenter is a successful company in rapid growth. We are experts in sustainable and secure data center solutions and are currently in an expansive phase where we are looking for an Operations Technician. We operate in an international market and have strong owners supporting our expansion.
Role Description

As an Operations Technician, you play a key role in ensuring and developing operational reliability so that the highest possible availability can be guaranteed for the facility to our customers.
Examples of tasks include operational monitoring, mechanical maintenance, developing routines and methods, deviation management, and documentation. Examples of tasks below:
- Proactive work in the data centers. Safely and competently, during daytime, or in some cases on standby or as a shift reserve, perform maintenance/preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Develop routines and methods within your area of responsibility as well as deviation management
- Build up, structure, create order and documentation for operational monitoring
- Receive customers and suppliers.
- Technical/mechanical commitments
- Ability to read BMS systems to understand alarms and pre-alarms (experience in this area is a plus).
- Follow established regulations
- Daily rounds in the facility
To succeed in this role, you need to be meticulous, prioritize safety, and have a strong customer focus and be service-minded.
We are looking for you who want to be part of building the data centers of the future. You are solution-oriented and want to take responsibility for the development of operational reliability. We believe that you are, for example, a trained technician with good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Cooling systems, power distribution, mechanics/automation, processes, HVAC, or heating. If you also have experience working as a mechanic in the industry or in data center operations, that is an additional merit, but not a requirement. To succeed in this role, computer skills are required as part of the work is done in our systems.
You are driven in your work and enjoy working independently. At the same time, you know that collaboration is the key to success and you are good at building relationships. Furthermore, you are goal-oriented and structured. However, it is most important for us that you share our values and that your personal qualities match the culture of our wonderful team. Last but not least, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
