Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

Our client is a social and cheerful man living in Gothenburg with a great interest in photography, art, music, and animals and nature. He also has a dedicated interest in sports. Since he enjoys sun and warmth and has a summer house outside Lidköping, trips there may occur. When the opportunity arises, he enjoys visiting interesting places, dining out, or attending music events.

The role requires a good ability to create secure relationships, as the work involves providing support in daily life with all that it entails. It is also important that you are a cheerful and positive person who enjoys working closely with others.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 50s living in Majorna
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• is smoke-free
• has a B driver's license

It is also advantageous if you:

• have previous experience in healthcare
• have experience with mobility-reducing injuries

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The employment form is “As long as the assistance assignment lasts.” The position corresponds to an average of just over 50% over a rolling four-week schedule. The work is around the clock with shifts from 09:30 to 09:30, of which 7 hours are sleeping on-call, and includes five day shifts per four-week period.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date

1/9 or according to agreement.
