We are looking for someone who wants to work night shifts with us at Kvarnåsen and Solgården.

As a nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care, you are a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone skilled in your profession who enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together with the care staff, rehabilitation, and management, we collaborate around the residents to provide a good life every day. 

As a nurse during the night with us, you are responsible for guiding, supporting, and educating other care staff and being a good role model for your colleagues at both of our facilities. You will travel between our units using the company's service vehicle. 

During the night, you will often face situations that require independent decisions, clinical assessment, and the ability to prioritize. Your competence and experience are crucial for creating security – both for patients and colleagues.

About our elderly homes Kvarnåsen and Solgården

Kvarnåsen has 92 apartments distributed across nine units. Kvarnåsen is located in central Årjäng, close to public transport, grocery stores, restaurants, and E18. 

Solgården has 44 apartments distributed across 5 units. Solgården is centrally located in Töcksfors, close to shopping centers, bus connections, and E18. 

Both homes are located in Årjäng municipality, known for its beautiful nature and rich opportunities for outdoor activities. The proximity to Oslo and Karlstad makes the location attractive and opens up possibilities to blend city life with small-town living and nature experiences. • We are looking for a licensed nurse
• Previous experience as a nurse in elderly care
• You need to have good knowledge of healthcare regulations
• You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• We prefer that you have knowledge of documenting according to ICF and KVÅ
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations
• A driver's license is required as driving is part of your work shift

Additional information

Employment type: Permanent position (2 vacancies)

Extent: approx. 64% according to agreement

Start date: According to agreement, can start immediately

Probationary period: we apply a 6-month probationary period. 

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present a criminal record extract. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
