Job Responsibilities

The focus of the research conducted at the department is the development of predictable and robust systems for protein production, purification, and detection.

Proteins with known, stable three-dimensional structures are used as a starting point for further development towards various applications. Genetic engineering strategies as well as cultivation strategies are used to tailor the proteins for specific purposes, such as protein purification, therapy, and diagnostics. In this position, the focus will be on the production and optimization of antibodies.

Qualifications

Requirements

A completed degree at the undergraduate or advanced level (higher education) in the subject of the position or equivalent competence.
We are looking for a person who is proactive, self-driven, and has good collaboration skills. The person we are looking for should also be structured and quality-conscious.
Subject proficiency.
Professional proficiency.
The person we are looking for should have a master's degree in biotechnology or equivalent.
The person we are looking for should also have documented experience in protein production in mammalian cells.

Meritorious

It is meritorious if the person has experience in glycoengineering of mammalian cells.
Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
