ALS in Sollentuna (Mikrolab Stockholm AB) is a microbiological consulting laboratory, part of ALS Scandinavia AB, (ALS Group). We perform microbiological analyses for customers in the pharmaceutical, medical technology, and water categories. The lab holds GMP certification and accreditation for microbiological analyses. Our analyses are based on European and American pharmacopoeias, ISO standards, and other recognized standards. We also assist customers with special studies, validations, environmental hygiene, and microbiology consulting.

ALS in Sollentuna is looking for a junior microbiologist/laboratory assistant for our laboratory.

We need to strengthen our team with a junior microbiologist or laboratory assistant as the business grows.

About the position

The work includes laboratory services, production, control, and analyses. Work can be carried out in both LAF bench and cleanroom. Tasks include work with bacteria, technical equipment, and chemicals.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for candidates with a scientific background. Experience in microbiological work in a laboratory environment is advantageous. The work requires fluency in Swedish and good knowledge of English in both speech and writing. Previous experience in working according to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and/or accredited operations is desirable.

To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible, quality-conscious, and results-oriented, as well as have the ability to work independently and systematically. The work also requires communication and collaboration with your colleagues in the laboratory.
