Project Assistant in Environmental Chemistry

Workplace: Department of Environmental Science

Application Deadline: January 6, 2025

The Department of Environmental Science is one of the larger departments within the Faculty of Science. We are currently seeking a project assistant to participate in the analysis of organic pollutants in sediment from areas with low contamination levels.

Job Description

Extraction and preparation of sediment samples for analysis of organic pollutants using mass spectrometry. Evaluation and summary of results.

Qualifications

Master's degree in environmental chemistry or analytical chemistry. Experience in method development and analysis of complex environmental samples. Knowledge of GCMS is a requirement.

Terms of Employment

Full-time position, nine months. Individual salary setting. Immediate start.
