Kitchen Assistant

We are now looking for a kitchen assistant for our restaurant in Mjällby who wants to work in a team where service spirit and teamwork are at the center, with enthusiasm and positivity. We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, attentive, responsible, and takes initiative. You thrive in the role of a company representative and share ISS's desire to deliver world-class service. This means you should have a high level of service and a good overview of your workstation. You easily build good relationships with both customers and colleagues.

To fit the role of kitchen assistant, you are service-oriented, flexible, and solution-oriented. You always put the guest in the first focus, and you do it with a smile on your face. You enjoy working both independently and in a team.

About the Role

Working hours are mainly Monday to Friday during the day, with evening work possible for orders/events. There is a strong sense of community and corporate culture with wonderful colleagues where you will become a key person within the service organization.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with an initial 6-month probation period.

Job Responsibilities

• Your tasks include assisting the kitchen team in preparing lunches and orders, as well as helping our cold kitchen staff with the preparation of salads and sandwiches. Tasks such as replenishing the lunch buffet and dishwashing are also included in the role.
• Assist with deliveries, self-control, and inventory.

• Has experience from service jobs, such as café, hotel, or restaurant.
• Is cheerful, social, and outgoing.
• Has good collaboration skills to work together with other kitchen staff.
• Takes initiative and sees what needs to be done.
• Is flexible, unpretentious, service-oriented, and stress-resistant.
• Has a sense of quality and is solution-oriented and responsible.
