About the position

We are now looking for someone who wants to make a difference for, primarily, children and young people with various disabilities, including autism and ADHD. You will work extra mainly in the evenings and on weekends, approximately 8-20 hours per month.

This is a side job, and we cannot offer a full-time position.

The assignments are located in the municipality of Stockholm, including Farsta, Hagsätra, Skarpnäck, Enskede, and Älvsjö.

As a companion and relief worker, you will provide support to the individual both at home and in the local area, as well as during various activities that contribute to joyful, rewarding, and developmental moments for the person. We try to match interests between you as the applicant and the person's interests/needs. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you could mention any special interests, talents, or skills in your application.

About you

To work as a companion or relief worker, you need to be over 18 years old. You need to be flexible regarding working hours since the shifts are primarily scheduled on weekends and evenings. Professional experience with various NPF diagnoses is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, it is important that you are reliable, empathetic, and attentive. It is also important that you are responsible and can work independently. You have good pedagogical skills and are good at motivating others.

It is advantageous but not a requirement if you have experience or education focused on children, care, and social services, or pedagogy. However, if you primarily have the will, commitment, and are looking for a long-term assignment, do not hesitate to apply!
