About Us

Region Sörmland is tasked with being the regional public transport authority in the county and is responsible for both general and special public transport under the brand Sörmlandstrafiken.

Your Responsibilities

As a customer service representative in the service center, you will provide customers with a positive experience of special public transport through a professional approach via phone. Your main tasks will include receiving orders and booking customers' trips within special public transport (transport services and medical trips). You will also register customer feedback and answer questions related to regulations for transport services, medical trips, care, and school transport.

We receive many customer calls into the operation, and as we are a socially important function, we place great emphasis on accessibility by phone and maintaining a high service level with short waiting times for our citizens. As a customer service representative, you will work on a rotating schedule from Monday to Sunday with varying shifts between 06:00 and 22:00. Together with your colleagues, you will work in an open office environment.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education and has previous work experience of at least a couple of years. You should have previously worked with customer contact, and experience in customer service is an advantage.

As a person, you are service-oriented, professional, and customer-focused through good communication. Additionally, we see that you are solution-oriented and possess a strong sense of quality. For the position, it is required that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and that you enjoy working with one or more tasks simultaneously.

A computer and phone are your primary tools in the job, which is why we expect you to have good system familiarity from previous experience. Furthermore, we see that in your role as a Customer Service Representative, you are expected to be flexible and open to change, involved, and willing to suggest improvements.

In your role, you will also work closely with your colleagues and nearby units, which is why it is important that you value collaboration and are receptive. Working towards common and individual goals in the operation is also something you see as a given. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Temporary hourly employment with immediate start or as agreed.
