You do not need to be a trained guide – what matters is that you have the right language skills, the right energy, and feel comfortable standing in front of a group.

We provide a ready-made tour (script, route, and stories), but you are responsible for the language, presence, engagement, and personality.

This is a role for those who want to work with people, culture, and communication in a meaningful way.

About the role

- You will lead a guided tour in German through Gamla Stan for both small and large groups.

- Each tour lasts about 1.5 hours, and we try to schedule several back-to-back.

- You will receive a script, support, and introduction – but are expected to prepare and deliver on your own.

- You will work on a freelance basis, primarily during the summer months and on weekends.

- Start as soon as possible.

- Compensation per tour, either as salary or invoiced.

We are looking for someone who

Speaks fluent German and good Swedish.

Has an interest in history, culture, and people.

Is confident, responsible, and reliable – you will be the sole language representative in the team.

Can easily grasp facts and make them engaging for others.

Has a strong work ethic and can deliver even without constant support.

You do not need prior guiding experience – but you should be comfortable taking the stage, speaking in front of groups, and creating a cohesive experience.

About the employment
