Are you passionate about knowledge, learning, and the development of young people? We are looking for a pedagogical editor to join our team in the Youth department, where we develop programs and educational support materials for middle school and high school.

About the role of pedagogical editor

As a pedagogical editor, you will play a central role in our work to develop and ensure the quality of educational content. You will be an important resource for both the content manager and program production, contributing your pedagogical expertise and understanding of the target audience to ensure quality in UR's knowledge offerings.

Your main responsibilities

• Contribute pedagogical and target audience-oriented expertise to program production and content development.
• Advise and collaborate with the content manager on issues related to pedagogy, offerings, and target groups.
• Develop and analyze feasibility studies, needs assessments, and environmental scans.
• Collect and process feedback from reference groups and users.
• Build relationships and strengthen dialogue with key target groups and stakeholders.
• Develop and write teacher guides and educational support materials.

We are looking for someone who has

• A pedagogical degree and several years of teaching experience, preferably in middle school, high school, or for young adults.
• Very good knowledge of pedagogy, teaching, and learning through media.
• Experience with digital tools and using media in teaching.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish – both spoken and written.
• Analytical and structured working methods; you are used to planning and prioritizing multiple parallel tasks.
• Good collaboration skills and an ease in building relationships, both internally and externally.

Meritorious

• Experience in developing feasibility studies and needs assessments.
• Teaching experience within our target groups, particularly in STEM and/or Swedish/SVA.
• Experience in developing educational materials and/or teacher guides.
• Experience in leading workshops and working on a project basis.
• Familiarity with target audience or environmental analyses.
• Experience with language development approaches.
• Good insight into journalistic principles, public service, and UR's special role.

Other information

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. Location: Stockholm.
