Our client is seeking a junior Supply Planner for part-time work to support the supply planning function. The role is 50% and gives you the opportunity to work closely with the business on varied tasks!
ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client is a leading player in the food and agriculture sector with operations in several countries. They work with the entire value chain from raw material to finished product and strive for sustainable solutions in food and agriculture. Now, our client needs to strengthen their supply planning function during a period of change. The role is operational and close to the business, with recurring tasks each week, allowing you to develop practical experience.
The assignment is part of our staffing service, which means you will be employed by Academic Work but work as a consultant for our client. The assignment is 50% and initially lasts for 4–6 months. The work primarily takes place on-site during regular office hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a junior Supply Planner, you will work with ongoing planning and follow-up tasks related to purchasing and inventory. Examples of tasks include:
- Placing and following up on purchase orders
- Ensuring order confirmations from suppliers
- Working with inventory balancing and managing shortages and surpluses
- Following up on deviations and escalating when necessary
- Supporting transport and delivery optimization
- Working continuously in Excel and ERP systems
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, curious, and willing to take responsibility in a role within the supply chain. You enjoy working in a structured way and are not afraid to ask questions or take your own initiatives. Furthermore, we see that you:
- Are studying a college or university degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial economics, or similar fields, with a planned graduation no earlier than June 2026.
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English, as communication in both languages is central to the role
- Have excellent skills in Excel
- Can work 50% during the period
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Worked with purchasing, call-off, or planning processes before
- Practical experience through internships or part-time jobs in a relevant field
