We are now looking for you at Nordström Assistans who has your heart in the right place and wants to enrich a person's life with special support. About the position We are currently seeking two personal assistants for a wheelchair-bound girl living in Hörby. You will be offered to work as a summer substitute and as needed. Your duties include assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers and lifting, medication management according to delegation, as well as care related to tracheostomy and tube feeding. The assistance is double-staffed, except at night when one of the assistants is on standby. Awake night shifts may occur in case of illness.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 22:00

About the client The client is a 17-year-old girl who lives at home with her family. She attends school on weekdays and enjoys being active in various ways – she likes to swing, be outdoors, paint, listen to music, craft, bake, and spend time with her family. About you As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. We believe that you who are applying for this position are a calm, positive, and creative person – qualities that the client truly appreciates in their surroundings. It is also important that you are flexible, reliable, and able to remain calm in stressful situations. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection. Requirements:

• have a driving license for automatic vehicles
• have access to a car
• are not allergic to pets

It is an advantage if you:

• have care experience and care education
• have previous experience with trach
