Due to an upcoming retirement, we are now looking for a site manager for operations and maintenance for our establishment in Vimmerby. Your mission as a site manager
As a site manager, you will work on various projects with a focus on our operations and maintenance work. You will have a central and project-like role where your main task will be to be responsible for the entire process, from careful planning and resource allocation to execution and follow-up of the work we perform. The role of site manager does not involve direct personnel responsibility; however, you play an important role for our skilled employees and also act as a coordinating contact for our subcontractors. Furthermore, you will support the site manager in daily tasks such as customer contact, production management, financial follow-up, and invoicing.
With us, you will have the opportunity to combine operational responsibility with strategic planning, while ensuring that your projects achieve set goals with high customer satisfaction. During the winter season, the work may intensify, and you will then manage multiple units and work teams simultaneously, which requires good prioritization skills and a solution-focused mindset.
The position is full-time. You will be based at our office in Vimmerby and report to the site manager. The position includes both winter and summer preparedness, where our basic maintenance extends from Horn in the north to Ålem in the south. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. The start date will be agreed upon.
Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we see it as a requirement that you have:
- B driver's license
- A background characterized by an interest in working on roads.
- Good computer skills and an interest in digital working methods and processes
- Good knowledge of Swedish spoken and written
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Experience in operations and maintenance / winter road maintenance
- Experience from a responsible position in a similar industry
- Relevant post-secondary education from, for example, university or relevant vocational training

Svevia is currently Sweden's largest operational contractor. In operations and maintenance, we manage, among other things, summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state road network. Many municipalities, private companies, and road associations hire us to take care of their roads and outdoor environments.
