We are currently looking for a site manager for small construction projects at our establishment in Kalmar. Your role as a site manager
As a site manager, you will work on various projects with a focus on ground and construction projects, which may also include projects involving guardrails and integrated bridges. Your work will encompass various construction works in areas such as road associations, municipalities, and private roads. As a site manager, you will have a central and project-like role where your main task will be to take responsibility for the entire process, from meticulous planning and resource allocation to implementation and follow-up of the work we carry out. The role of a site manager does not involve direct personnel responsibility, but you play a crucial role for our professional employees and also act as a coordinating contact for our subcontractors. Furthermore, you support the site manager in the daily work with tasks such as customer contact, production control, financial monitoring, and invoicing.
The role of a site manager includes both administrative work in the office and outdoor work. The role offers significant personal responsibility and the freedom to independently plan and execute your projects.
The position is full-time. You will be based at our establishment in Kalmar and report to the site manager. At Svevia, we apply individual salary setting. Who are you?
- Driver's license B
- Relevant post-secondary education from, for example, university or relevant vocational education, or equivalent work experience
- Some form of experience in previous construction work
- Good computer skills and interest in digital work methods and processes
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
We see it as a merit if you have experience from a managerial position/other responsible role in a similar industry such as road and construction work or maintenance work.
